Payment

ELO Cosmetics ApS accepts online payments with Visa/Dankort, Visa, Mastercard, MobilePay Online, Apple Pay.

Payment will only be charged to your account when the physical item is shipped or the virtual product has been created, unless otherwise agreed or stated in your order.

Reservation of amount

When using payment cards, both debit and credit, the amount you purchase for is reserved. This amount is reserved until the webshop has processed and shipped your order. Once the order has been shipped, the money is charged to the account. The reservation period depends on the product/service.

Authorisation on debit cards

With a debit card, you will be able to see that the money is reserved in your account and that your available balance will appear lower. If you or the webshop subsequently cancel your order, the webshop cannot charge the money, but the reservation will still remain for a period. Please note that only your bank (or card issuer) can release the reservation.

Authorisation on credit cards

The money will only be charged from your account and appear in your overview when the webshop processes and charges the payment for your order.

All amounts on the website include VAT.

ELO Cosmetics ApS uses a secure payment server that encrypts all information with the SSL protocol, which means your data is secure and cannot be read by unauthorised third parties.

ELO Cosmetics ApS‘s own website also uses encryption with the SSL protocol.

Delivery

The delivery time for your order is 1–3 days.

ELO Cosmetics ApS ships items with the following:

  • GLS – ParcelShop
  • PostNord – ParcelShop/nearby locker
  • DAO
  • Instabox

Shipping is calculated based on weight.


You can choose between having the parcel sent “without delivery” or “with delivery”.


You will always receive a track and trace number so you can follow your parcel from our warehouse to your home.

ELO Cosmetics ApS is responsible for the item until it has been delivered to the customer.

Right of withdrawal

You have a 14-day full right of return on items purchased on the website, unless otherwise agreed or stated in your order.

The 14-day period starts on the day the order is delivered.

Any return shipping costs are your responsibility.

Your request to withdraw must be notified to us no later than 14 days after delivery and must reach us no later than 14 days after we have been informed of your use of the right of withdrawal.

Your request to use the right of withdrawal must be sent by email to kundeservice@elo-cosmetics.dk. In the message, you must clearly state that you wish to use the right of withdrawal.

Condition of the item upon return

You are liable for any reduction in the item’s value resulting from handling other than what is necessary to determine the item’s nature, characteristics, and function. This means you may try the item in the same way as if you were shopping in a physical store.

If the item has been tried beyond what is described above, it is considered used and of reduced value. This means that if you withdraw from the purchase, you will receive a smaller part of the purchase amount back, or none at all. It is up to ELO Cosmetics ApS to assess the condition of the item.

Right to complain

You have a 2-year right to complain on products in accordance with the Danish Sale of Goods Act. The right to complain applies to all defects in software, materials, and manufacturing.

Complaints regarding defects and deficiencies must be reported to ELO Cosmetics ApS within a reasonable time after receiving the item.
Here, a maximum of two months is considered a reasonable time, unless otherwise agreed.
We refund reasonable shipping costs.

The right to complain is void in the event of incorrect or unusual use of the product.

ELO Cosmetics ApS covers the return costs to a reasonable extent.

Complaints are not accepted if they are sent cash on delivery.

Customer & Privacy Policy

We do not resell personal information and do not share your personal information with others; it is only registered in our customer database. You can have your information deleted at any time.

In order for you to enter into an agreement with ELO Cosmetics ApS, we need the following information:

We register your personal data for the purpose of delivering the item to you.

The personal data is registered with ELO Cosmetics ApS and stored for up to five years, after which the information is deleted.

Complaints options

A complaint about a product or service can be submitted to Nævnenes Hus, the Mediation Team for Consumer Complaints, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg via the Complaints Portal for Nævnenes Hus. The Mediation Team will try to resolve the dispute through mediation, and if it is not possible to find a solution, you can bring the complaint before the Consumer Complaints Board.

As a general rule, it is a requirement for submitting a complaint that the product or service you want to complain about has cost at least DKK 1,110 and no more than DKK 100,000. For complaints about clothing and shoes, the price must generally be at least DKK 720. The amount limits may be changed. You must pay a fee to have the complaint processed.
